This study investigates the influence of artificial intelligence (AI) on SDGs 8, 9, 10, 12, and 17, with a focus on economic sustainability. Each Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) was examined individually to determine the potential applications of artificial intelligence (AI). The subtopics were developed to comprehensively address numerous aspects of sustainable development within these objectives. The data collection approach involved gathering relevant case studies, examples of artificial intelligence (AI) implementations, and empirical evidence for each Sustainable Development Goal (SDG). This study improves understanding of how artificial intelligence (AI) can either assist or hinder the growth of economic sustainability in respect to SDGs 8, 9, 10, 12, and 17. It offers useful insights for researchers, policymakers, and practitioners exploring innovative ways to achieve sustainable development goals. Through our analysis, we discovered that AI has the ability to have a positive impact on 42 specific objectives within this category, whereas 20 objectives have shown a deterring effect.
