Technology innovation is consistently welcomed by companies across several sectors. The term “Blockchain” is popular in the business sector. Blockchain is seen as the technology of the future. This system’s distributed ledger technology feature has the potential to revolutionize a number of industrial sectors in the future and serve as the foundation for the expansion of numerous commercial areas. Numerous investigations have been conducted by different researchers in the past to examine the characteristics, uses, and scenarios of the new technology. I have explored the knowledge regarding Blockchain in this research by using journal publications, newsletters, and newspaper pieces as well. This study examines the characteristics, uses, and possible advantages of Blockchain technology across a range of industries, with a focus on the FMCG sectors. The study summarized that this new technology can bring a revolutionary shift in the business process in various domains in the future.
