摘要

In the face of increasing conflict and the threat of terrorism, the role of anti-bomb vehicles as a passive defense against bomb attacks is crucial. Design and structure are critical components in minimizing damage when an explosion occurs. This study presents the results of a comprehensive numerical analysis of the response of a circular Domex 700 Steel plate to a blast. The circular Domex 700 steel plate, with thicknesses of 2 mm and 3 mm, is associated with a clamp and used as an explosion target up to a mass of 40 g. Numerical simulations were conducted further to analyze the explosion’s deformation and plastic dissipation energy using ABAQUS with the CONWEP method. The results reveal a significant global differentiation in deformation and energy dissipation with different thicknesses, providing a comprehensive understanding of the structural response to blast loadings.
