Bobbin lacemaking is a complex and delicate handicraft with rich history and a bright future in Slovenia. In the last few decades, it has become one of the most popular handicrafts in our country. More and more young and adult lacemakers are learning and practising the skill in schools and in numerous lacemaking societies. They are the safeguards of our cultural heritage and creators of new lace masterpieces.
