A Comparative Study on Cooling of PVT
摘要
Conserving water and using it more wisely is now essential due to the growing number of stories about regions experiencing drought and water shortages. The goal of the study is to reduce the quantity of water required for PVT cooling, particularly in hot, dry climates like the Indian deserts. One of the main concerns for developers and consumers is the output drop of PVT when their temperature rises while they are operating. To regulate the temperature of PVT caused by solar radiation absorption, cooling is required. This study examines the outcomes of PVT without cooling, with back water cooling, top cooling, and moist Aspen fiber cooling. The experimental results indicated that overall efficiency with Aspen fiber cooling increased to 9.36%, whereas in the back cooling and top cooling method, efficiency was 8.91% and 8.99%, respectively. This research explores the use of passive evaporative cooling technology. The method incorporates moist Aspen Fibers on the back side of PVT decreasing the module's temperature by permitting a thin layer of water to evaporate. The incorporation of Aspen Fibers is very effective, cheap, renewable, sustainable, and environmentally friendly.
