The ocean and coral reefs are important biomes that are under threat by multiple factors. Serious games, generally considered to be effective education tools, can be used to educate people about these issues and the attempts to remedy them. This study aims to verify the usability of a shooter serious game about trash collection and coral restoration between 2 groups of people, those who often play arcade games, and those who do not, by letting both groups play the game and surveying them with a questionnaire. The test results show that there are negligible differences of usability between the 2 groups.
