University education must be more personalized, accessible, and flexible to support student development. In this context, digital information and communication technologies play an increasingly central role in higher education, requiring a reimagining of learning spaces and teaching staff roles. Integrating technological tools enhances interaction, feedback, and personalized learning, promoting the development of virtual learning environments that facilitate access to educational resources anytime and anywhere. This study aims to identify universities’ most-used technological tools to improve teaching and learning. To achieve this, research published between 2018 and 2024 was collected, filtered, and reviewed using specialized methods, databases, and search engines, resulting in the selection of 29 relevant studies. The findings highlight that technological tools significantly enhance students’ learning experiences as they improve accessibility, collaboration, and autonomy in their educational process. Additionally, various technical and pedagogical tools support the management and optimization of university teaching, ranging from online learning platforms to educational data analysis systems. Therefore, providing optimal technology to instructors is essential for universities, as it is now crucial for educators to develop digital competencies, enabling them to understand, select, and adapt tools to help students achieve course objectives and improve their academic performance.

摘要
