Science and Space Communication
摘要
Science Communication has existed since times immemorial. However, its shape and framework has evolved over centuries and millenniums. Modern science communication evolved in the Western Europe and the United States with the advances in sciences and industrial revolution. Science has always been intertwined with society and is therefore complementary to each other. Communicating about science as a discipline has been an important, critical and challenging task. This role of communicator was traditionally assumed by science teachers and professors within classrooms but later the role of a science communicator became nuanced with time. Science journalists covered various areas within the ambit of Science since the nineteenth century and Outer Space became a niche area for science journalists to cover from the second half of the twentieth century.
