Electronic waste (e-waste) carries countless hazardous chemicals that harm human, environmental, and biological health. Each year billions of tonnes of electronic waste instruments are disposed of as outdated gadgets break or are known as obsolete and are thrown away. Electronic and digital waste(E-Waste) is unused electronic devices or instruments, of which telecommunication waste, mobile, cell phone, and telephone waste are unfairly through or replaced because of recent technology and the short span of devices. The internal parts of electronic items sometimes considered as E-waste like internal fittings are changed as per the development of recently updated techniques and high commercial demands of industrial companies on electronics devices to look some best practices to give some new materials. Most of the solid forms of waste especially electronic wastes are dumped in lands. Sustainable and impactful reprocessing technology of E-waste recycling is expensive, but it can collect important useful materials with minimal impact on the surroundings and the environment. Many contaminants of E-waste are available on land to the environment via dust particles by transporting the radiation and dust to other areas. The excessive production of E-waste notices in developing countries where poor management of recycling processes and the control and regulation are on documents only. This chapter covers the entire information about health effect and consequences of e-waste generation with its disposal routes, and this chapter talk about some hazardous environmental contaminants that impact surroundings and human health as well as the global environment with possible solutions.
