This chapter reflects on three mobilizing emotions—anger, anxiety, and hope—and sketches a repertory of political action aimed at a multispecies future. Drawing on the Turkey’s recent political crack-downs and shift to authoritanism, it frames anger as a resource against systemic violence, anxiety as a visceral response to the dangers extinction and climate breakdown, and hope as the determination to build alternatives. Building on these affects, the chapter distinguishes an interlocking trio of strategies: a politics of representation that reshapes language, imagery, and legal categories; a politics of alternatives that nurtures non-conforming practices and new possibilities for multispecies co-habitation; and a politics of disruption that turns to civil disobedience, sabotage, or even armed resistance when the first two avenues are blocked. Rather than offering a definitive prescription, the chapter searches for ways to develop counter-actions capable of challenging the growth-obsessed “suicide economy” and of translating anger, anxiety, and hope into a coordinated practice of multispecies justice.

摘要
