Opportunities abound in AI-enhanced imaging, enabling personalized diagnostics, superior prognostic capabilities, and precision medicine approaches in cardiology. Yet, CMR’s position is increasingly challenged by advancements in competing modalities such as CT and echocardiography, coupled with ethical, regulatory, and technological barriers to AI integration.
