Based on the theory of thermodynamics of granular materials, a multi-field coupled constitutive model framework for unsaturated soils was established. Under this model framework, the application analysis of the model was carried out, respectively, for the cases of saturated clays, fine-grained gassy soil, saturated sand, and gassy sand. The main research achievements and conclusions are as follows:
