In this chapter, I shall summarise the main findings and demonstrate that the central thesis is correct—that the literature of David Ireland does offer us a complex, unique and highly fertile atlas of the spaces and places of Australia. After reviewing the preceding chapters, we will conclude by exploring the ways that Ireland’s Australian atlas might help us orient ourselves in the contemporary spatial crisis.
