In his book, Mr. Xu uses the Confucian and Daoist spirits of art as the two main paradigms of the “Spirit of Chinese Art”, and regards LaoziLaozi and ZhuangziZhuangzi, especially the artistic spirit of Zhuangzi, as the so-called “Pure Spirit of Art”.

Since Mr. Xu FuguanXu Fuguan first proposed the concept of the” Spirit of Chinese Art” in his book The Spirit of Chinese Art in the late 1960s, the term “Spirit of Art” has gradually become a hot topic of interest.
