Supply Chain Management in Agriculture Using Blockchain
摘要
The agriculture industry has gotten enormous, so it is beset by a series of problems that threaten the long-term existence of the industry. Labor to establishing a competitive economic advantage, each problem must be solved; elsewhere, the ecosystem will fail. Blockchain can help the agricultural industry control and manage established risks while maintaining affordability across the ecosystem. The system proposed works on blockchain technology to monitor multiple forms of plant information, including the quality of seed and plant growth, as well as provide an archive of the plant's journey after leaving the farm. This information is able to heighten the visibility of supply chains and lower instances of illegal and unethical activities. Due to its scale, the agriculture industry is faced with various challenges to its long-term survival. If every issue—from labor to the competitive market—is not resolved, the system would collapse. The agricultural industry may be able to reduce expenses while also addressing known risks with blockchain technology. The method makes use of blockchain technology, which may be able to trace the plant's path after it leaves the farm and keep an eye on other plant-related data, including crop growth and seed quality. This information can help reduce worries about unethical and illegal activity and improve supply chain transparency.
