A Review of Influence of Dynamic Wind Loads on Structural Performance of Wind Turbine Foundations
摘要
In this review paper, the role of dynamic wind loads on the structural performance of wind turbine foundations is investigated, emphasizing the impact that these loads have on the stability, durability, and performance of the foundation. For the purpose of guaranteeing the long-term efficiency and safety of wind turbines, it is essential to ensure that they maintain their structural integrity. Wind energy is a substantial contribution to the worldwide mix of renewable energy sources. In this study, a number of different kinds of foundations, including as spread, pile, and gravity foundations, are discussed. Additionally, the relevance of soil-structure interaction and the behavior of elastoplastic soils under dynamic loading circumstances is emphasized. The purpose of this paper is to offer a complete study of wind-induced stresses, fracture forms, and vibration effects. This analysis is based on empirical data and numerical simulations. In addition, the paper addresses research needs, such as the impact of dynamic loads on foundation deterioration and cracking patterns over the long term. The results are intended to provide information that may be used to improve design processes and material choices in order to boost structural resilience, hence aiding the optimization of wind energy infrastructure and encouraging ecologically responsible power production.
