The complex nature of SNDR projects, besides their dynamic nature, requires a dynamic response. The greater the ability to manage the complexity of an SNDR project, the higher the project’s chance of success. While traditional project management usually focuses on time, cost, and quality management, SNDR project management should solve the problems arising due to the complexity while addressing the long-term requirements (Chang et al., in JAMA 1(1):65–83, 2010). Therefore, it is necessary to answer the following questions: What are the success dimensions of SNDR projects? Moreover, which factors can be critically influential on the success dimensions? This chapter attempts to answer the abovementioned questions by clearly defining successful recovery measurements and how influential factors can be used to manage SNDR projects. Triangulation of the results obtained from qualitative and quantitative methods helps the authors to identify causes of success and measurements of successful SNDR projects under the logic of Qualitative Comparative Analysis (QCA). The interactions between the groups of success causes and success measurements have then been assessed. The definition of success is adjustable based on each project’s requirements and features. The success dimensions and their influential factors obtained through this chapter are open to further research and can be examined by their application in case studies with distinctive characteristics.
