Assessing Environmental Peacebuilding: Principles, Criteria, and Pathways for Proactive Interventions
摘要
Drawing on comparative case studies, this précis contends that environmental peacebuilding can be promoted through three guiding principles: shared resource cooperation, sustainability in peace processes, and inclusive natural resource governance. However, principles alone are insufficient—practice must navigate the hybrid ecological, political, and social contexts of environmental peacebuilding. Accordingly, this précis proposes adaptations to the OECD–DAC framework and supplements it with peacebuilding-specific evaluative criteria, enabling more holistic design, implementation, and assessment of interventions.
