Research on Desulfurization Denitrification and Activation of Gelling Activity of Electrolytic Manganese Slag

The chemical composition of electrolytic manganese slag is similar to that of the mineral phase composition of cementitious materials, laying the foundation for the preparation of cementitious materials from electrolytic manganese slag. This chapter first analyzes the physical and chemical properties of electrolytic manganese slag after water washing and ammonia removal. The use of calcination to treat electrolytic manganese slag can achieve efficient ammonia and sulfur dioxide removal, as well as the dissolution of heavy metals, while also making the electrolytic manganese slag after high-temperature calcination have good cementitious activity. By synergistically utilizing it with fly ash, desulfurization gypsum, and Portland cement clinker, high-performance manganese slag-based grouting materials are prepared to solve the problem of low comprehensive utilization rate of electrolytic manganese slag.
