Trend Analysis of Radioactive Gaseous and Liquid Discharges During Lifetime of Pressurized Water Reactor
摘要
During plant operation, the radioactive substances are produced, treated and discharged in gaseous or liquid form naturally into environment or disposed to the disposal facility. With degradation of the system and equipment in nuclear power plant due to aging effect during life time, the quantity of the radioactive substances produced in reactor core and discharged to environment may increase, leading to higher impact on environment. To confirm whether this discharge increase due to aging effect actually exist, this paper conducted a trend analysis of radioactive discharges during life time of Pressurized Water Reactor based on three decade recorded discharge data of Pressurized Water Reactor in commercial operation around the world, focusing mainly on those radionuclides could be highly related to aging effects, i.e. the fission products and corrosion products. It has been revealed that there is no obvious increase trend for radioactive discharges during life time of Pressurized Water Reactor and hence no indicator for.
