Right-Wing Shift in the Nordic Region
摘要
This chapter analyses four key right-wing parties in Nordic—the Danish People’s Party (Denmark); the True Finns (Finland); Swedish Democrats (Sweden); and the Progress Party (Norway). These parties, despite different historical legacies, have been able to converge ideologically as well as on the issues they have raised. These parties have been able to make significant impact on the overall politics of their respective countries. These parties are identified with the ideology of populism and their anti-establishment position with a pronounced centrist position in terms of their socio-economic policy, however they are anti-migrant in their rhetoric and adopt a fairly nationalist positions in their outlook.
