Traditional talent acquisition models were mostly human-driven, and later companies started using technology as a support for human-driven procedures. In a country like India, labour markets are dynamic, and skill set requirements are also ever-changing. Hence, the initial part of the study examines the features of various types of talent acquisition models followed in India and also at the global level. As a progress study exhibits the talent acquisition process with special emphasis on employer branding and Employee Value Proposition (EVP). The study also delves into the impact of technology and automation on talent acquisition practices. The last part of the study examines the challenges of AI in HR practices, especially in the context of the Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, and Ambiguous (VUCA) world and concludes by sketching the road ahead for talent acquisition models, which leverage data-driven insights, technology, and agile recruitment strategies to build resilient talent pipelines that align with evolving business needs.
