Human Resource Analytics: Challenges and Prospects for Human Resource Effectiveness

  • Ibrahim Olanrewaju Lawal

摘要

Although Human Resource Analytics (HRA) is increasingly used and the question of how it can influence employee productivity remains unanswered. Human Resource Analytics is an enhancement of Human Resources practice that uses data analysis to advance HR practices, improve employee engagement, performance, and decision-making, and enhance organizational growth, efficiency, and strategic workforce planning. The current research aims to fill this gap by investigating the impact of HRA on job satisfaction, engagement, performance, and other aspects of the workplace. The study adopted the Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses (PRISMA) to achieve smooth, superior, and improved comprehension of the examination of the gathered information and analysis. The results indicate that HRA is positively related to employee satisfaction, engagement, and overall performance, thereby enhancing HR’s capacity to address workforce needs. Nevertheless, issues of low data quality, lack of analytical skills, and ethical concerns, especially regarding privacy and fairness, affect the effectiveness and credibility of HRA initiatives. To get the best out of HRA, the chapter suggests that organizations adopt effective data management systems, improve HR professionals’ analytical capabilities through training, and develop ethical standards. Such measures will contribute to transparency, employee confidence, and the successful implementation of data-oriented HR practices.
