Promotion Mechanism of Artificial Intelligence Enabling Education in China

This chapter concentrates on the promotion mechanism of artificial intelligence enabling education in China. The rapid development of artificial intelligence technology and its deep integration with education are triggering a profound educational paradigm shift worldwide. From the dual perspectives of international comparison and local reality, the empowerment of education by artificial intelligence has profound contemporary connotations and strategic value. However, there are significant challenges in infrastructure and data ecology, application effectiveness and evidence basis, human capital and ethical risks, as well as regional balance and sustainability in the empowerment of education by artificial intelligence. Therefore, a systematic promotion mechanism framework centered on “pilot demonstration” and a three-stage progressive structure should be constructed. Pilot and trial first: select “smart education demonstration zones” to carry out comprehensive AI application pilot projects; refine models: summarize typical cases and best practices at regional, school, and subject levels; promote radiation and drive: establish an effective path and support mechanism for the “pilot–demonstration–promotion” model.
