Design of Wire Guide Device for Horizontal Cylinder Displacement Gauge of Miter Gate in a Ship Lock
摘要
At present, the horizontal cylinder displacement gauge of the miter gate in a ship lock generally adopts the rubber guide wire sleeve protection method, which has the defects of easy wear and tear, and wire rope breakage caused by guide failure. To solve the above problems, a wire guide device with simple structure, light weight, small volume, convenient installation and high reliability is developed in this paper. Firstly, the composition structure and working principle of the device are introduced, and its design characteristics of realizing rolling guidance by using bearing-equipped V-shaped rollers and being fixed at the wire outlet through steel hoops are elaborated. Secondly, the finite element theory is used to carry out simulation analysis on the device. Through material property definition, mesh division and load constraint setting, the strength verification is completed. The results show that the structural stress is much lower than the material yield limit, and the safety factor meets the requirements. On this basis, a bench test is carried out to simulate the actual working conditions, which verifies the effectiveness of the device in supporting the steel wire and improving the friction form. The device operates stably without wire breakage. The device has been successfully applied to this Ship Lock, significantly improving the service life of the steel wire and system reliability, reducing maintenance costs, and is of great value in ensuring the navigation efficiency of the ship lock. It can also be promoted and used in similar shipping hub projects.
