摘要

This study proposes a linearization control method based on spot color hue value (SCTV) for desktop color inkjet printers. Traditional linearization relies on density measurement and is difficult to accurately characterize the hue gradient behavior of spot colors and high-chroma CMYK inks. The SCTV model converts the measured chromaticity values into hue values that can reflect visual uniformity by introducing the CIELAB uniform color space, thereby achieving a visually uniform hue transition from the substrate to the solid color. This paper designed an experiment to measure the output color blocks of the printer at different ink volumes, calculated the hue value using the SCTV formula, established a mapping relationship between the input dot area rate and the output SCTV value, and generated a linearization compensation curve. Experimental results show that this method significantly improves the smoothness of color transitions, providing a linearization solution for desktop inkjet devices that combines chromaticity accuracy and visual consistency, especially suitable for multi-color and high-fidelity color output scenarios.
