Educating for the Climate Through Film Literacy: “Educinema Clima Tour Action” Erasmus+ Project
摘要
This chapter is based on the Erasmus+ project “Collective Creativity and Community Education in Film Literacy for Climate Action Tourism” (Educinema Clima Tour Action), funded by the European Union in collaboration with the Spanish Service for the Internationalisation of Education (SEPIE), under the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities. Led by the research group in Social Pedagogy and Environmental Education (SEPA-interea) of the University of Santiago de Compostela, with the involvement of universities and schools from Spain, Italy, Poland and Portugal, the project ran between 2020 and 2024. Its core objective: to promote film literacy, collective creativity and community education by fostering good practices in environmental education that promote sustainable tourism as part of climate action (SDG4 and SDG13). Through an interdisciplinary social pedagogical approach, using STE(A)M methodology, the project outcomes are clearly novel in terms of both methodology (including the production of a film musical titled Climantopia) and the content dealt with. Following its evaluation, the project was recognised as a good practice by the European Commission.
