SWOT Analysis and Strategic Research on Self-operated Terminals of G Group along the Yangtze River Main Stem

This paper takes the self-operated terminals of G Group along the Yangtze River Main Stem as the research object. By comprehensively using the methods of literature research and case analysis, and combining with the SWOT analysis model, it makes an in-depth exploration of their internal strengths and weaknesses, as well as external opportunities and threats. The study shows that the terminals have significant advantages such as relying on the integrated coal-power-transportation industrial chain, but they are faced with the dilemmas of high investment costs and talent shortages. Driven by environmental protection policies, there are development opportunities, while they also suffer from threats such as shoreline resource competition. Based on this, strategic choices such as growth strategy and turnaround strategy are put forward, and targeted development strategies such as optimizing the layout and deepening technological innovation are given, aiming to provide theoretical support and practical paths for the sustainable development of the self-operated terminals of G Group along the Yangtze River Main Stem, and having important reference value for the research and development in the field of coal port operation.
