Research on the Disposal and Transformation Strategy of Old Wells in Offshore Gas Storage Reservoirs——Take the Bohai H Gas Field as an Example

As China’s natural gas consumption demand maintains a sustained growth trend, China’s demand for the construction of gas storage facilities has gradually increased. In view of the relatively limited resources of onshore reservoir sites, research on offshore gas storage reservoirs has been gradually carried out in recent years. The research on the disposal and transformation of old wells in gas storage reservoirs is an important part of the research on gas storage technology, which plays a vital role in the smooth operation of gas storage reservoirs in the future, but there is a lack of research on old wells and transformation of offshore gas storage reservoirs. According to the current requirements of existing offshore oil and gas fields and gas storage reservoirs, this paper summarizes a set of old well disposal and transformation strategies for offshore gas storage reservoirs, and takes the reconstruction of offshore gas storage reservoirs in Bohai H gas field as an example. Through the design and application of the project plan, it is shown that the strategy can complete the disposal and transformation design of the old well of the offshore gas storage reservoir, laying a good foundation for the construction of the offshore gas storage reservoir.
