Research and Application of Rapid Reservoir Identification Based on Curve Shape Analysis

摘要

In response to the problems of low landing success rate and difficulty in ensuring reservoir drilling encounter rate in the development of thin reservoir horizontal wells in Bohai Oilfield, this study proposes a rapid identification technology system for reservoirs based on curve shape analysis, relying on logging data. This system integrates the curve shape characteristics of drilling time derived indices (C index, Y index) and the multi parameter combination shape characteristics of gas logging, significantly improving the accuracy and efficiency of landing point recognition; At the same time, combined with high-definition real-time geological boundary detection technology, geological guidance optimization of sand body boundary curve characteristics has been achieved. According to research, the application results of 86 horizontal wells in the Kenli block show that the landing success rate of horizontal wells has been increased to 95.5%, and the identification accuracy of thin reservoirs has been improved from 89% to 95%, providing strong technical support for efficient development of thin reservoirs.
