Quantitative Evaluation of Fracturing Dessert Identification in Horizontal Wells of Algal Limestone Reservoirs

The lithology of algal limestone reservoirs is complex and highly heterogeneous, and conventional fracturability evaluation methods are difficult to accurately locate high-quality sections of algal limestone horizontal wells. In order to improve the accuracy of dessert recognition, a comprehensive scoring method based on the accuracy of the factors and the range of characterization was adopted to screen out five attribute parameters in geological and engineering categories as the impact indicators for dessert recognition in multi-stage fracturing of algal limestone horizontal wells. The influence laws of each indicator on dessert recognition were evaluated; Based on the TOPSIS-AHP joint algorithm, a multi-attribute fusion model for identifying and evaluating dessert in algal limestone horizontal well fracturing was constructed, and dessert were classified into different levels. The research results indicate that the multi-attribute fusion dessert recognition model can achieve precise quantitative evaluation of the geological properties of the entire horizontal well section; The dessert of algal limestone fracturing can be divided into four categories: category I if the fracturing dessert index is higher than 0.68, category II if it is between 0.48 and 0.68, category III if it is between 0.33 and 0.48, and category IV if it is lower than 0.33; The field application results demonstrate that using this method for horizontal well stage and cluster division, along with fracturing design, increases the average stimulated reservoir volume per stage by 22.8% and reduces inter-stage re-fracturing rate by 6.4%. This research achievement can effectively enhance fracturing performance and is of great significance for the efficient development of algal limestone reservoirs.
