Research on Injection-Production Characteristics and Adjustment Strategies for CO2 Flooding Test in H Oilfield

摘要

H Oilfield, as a typical ultra-low permeability reservoir, features extremely low permeability that significantly hinders the effectiveness of traditional waterflooding development methods. This paper aims to explore the practical application of carbon dioxide (CO2) flooding technology in the ultra-low permeability reservoir of the X block within H Oilfield. Based on the actual development situation of the block, the paper analyzes development contradictions, miscibility conditions, and the impact of fractures at the injection end [1–5]. Meanwhile, at the production end, the response characteristics and comprehensive adjustment effects are studied across planes, vertically, and over time axes. The study reveals that CO2 flooding technology can effectively address the development challenges of ultra-low permeability reservoirs. By optimizing contradiction management at the injection end and adjustment strategies at the production end, the recovery rate has been significantly improved, and the block’s development performance has shown a positive trend. The innovative comprehensive adjustment technology for CO2 flooding in ultra-low permeability reservoirs proposed in this paper holds important guiding significance for the efficient development of similar reservoirs.
