The Design and Implementation of a Drone Management Platform Based on Multi-Source Data

摘要

As the energy industry develops rapidly, the safety and maintenance efficiency of infrastructure have become key factors influencing production. This research combines drones and the Internet of Things (IoT) to carry out intelligent facility inspections, achieving remarkable results in the oil industry. The goal is to boost inspection efficiency, optimize maintenance processes, and predict potential equipment failures through data analysis, thus reducing losses from facility malfunctions. Drones equipped with high-definition cameras and infrared thermal imagers are used to inspect target facilities. The IoT platform receives and combines data sent back by drones and sensor data like temperature and pressure. When problems such as aging lines or overheated equipment are detected, the system can quickly locate the fault and generate detailed reports. The innovation of this study is the deep integration of drone and IoT technologies in oil facility inspections, enabling efficient integration and intelligent analysis of multi-source data. It offers a complete set of intelligent inspection solutions for the oil industry, enhancing the ability to warn of and handle faults. Research results show that this method improves inspection efficiency and accuracy, cuts labor costs and inspection expenses by 40%. Also, preventive maintenance is achieved through data analysis, effectively reducing production disruptions and economic losses due to facility failures. This achievement is of great significance for ensuring oil production safety, improving production efficiency, and promoting the intelligent transformation of the oil industry. The traditional oil facility inspection methods rely heavily on manual labor, which is time-consuming and prone to human error. In contrast, the new system integrating drones and IoT is more reliable. Drones can cover large areas in a short time, and the IoT platform can process data in real-time. In the future, with the continuous progress of 5G technology, the data transmission speed between drones and the IoT platform will be faster, further improving the timeliness of inspections. This will contribute more to the stable operation of the oil industry.
