Method for Real-Time Analysis of Drill Bit Efficiency Using MSE
摘要
In order to provide real-time mechanical specific energy(MSE) analysis for drilling sites and assist in quickly determining bit efficiency, numerical fitting was carried out on the torque of 39 drill bits from 7 oil fields in a certain sea area of China. A bit-specific-coefficient of sliding friction suitable for offshore drilling was given, and the application effect of bit torque and mechanical specific energy model in real-time drilling decision-making was optimized. The method of using mechanical specific energy to analyze bit efficiency in real time was summarized, providing better technical means for drilling efficiency analysis and decision-making.
