Research on the Digital and Intelligent Transformation and Upgrading of Fracturing Equipment

As the oil industry moves towards “digitalization and intelligence”, traditional fracturing equipment is also facing a trend of digital transformation and intelligent development, with new technologies such as electric drive fracturing, intelligent control and diagnosis emerging. This article first presents the development of fracturing equipment at home and abroad, then dissects the current research status and major progress of intelligent fracturing equipment at home and abroad in two themes: high-end equipment and intelligent fracturing control, and compares domestic and foreign technologies in two parts: main fracturing equipment and auxiliary fracturing equipment. Based on the existing intelligent fracturing equipment, the article looks forward to the intelligent development direction of fracturing equipment in two stages: 10,000-hp electric drive fracturing equipment and full-process intelligent control system, “black light fracturing”, and provides specific technical routes from the aspects of overall path and key equipment for reference by peers in the same industry.
