Procedure to Improve the Level of Reliability in the Selection Processes of Drywall Subcontractors Using the CBA Methodology

摘要

The article proposes a solution to improve the subcontractor selection process in buildings in Metropolitan Lima. The implementation of the Choosing by Advantage [CBA] and the development of a program with the Visual Basic programming language of specific support for this purpose are highlighted. In this way, the drywall subcontractor selection process is automated, evaluating the selection criteria, including technical, quality and financial aspects to have a Cost vs. Advantage analysis at the end and define the winning company. Through an exhaustive analysis of the current situation and background, the existing challenges in the selection of subcontractors are identified and a proposal is made to improve the reliability in this procedure. For this, an important indicator was evaluated, which is the Reliability Level of the proposed procedure, measured through Likert scales before and after the solution proposal was made. In the development of this article, the considerations that were considered in order to execute the subcontractor selection procedure in the Visual Basic program, the parameters to be considered and the results obtained from the indicator based on the simulation performed are presented.
