Numerical Simulation of Water-Thermal-Mechanical Coupling in Graded Coarse-Grained Soils During the Freezing Process
摘要
A dynamic coupling model of graded coarse-grained soil was developed based on the rigid ice model, considering the influence of fine particle content on the thermal and hydraulic parameters of graded coarse-grained soil. Visual Studio was used to numerically investigate the coupling effect of water, heat, and force during the freezing process of graded coarse-grained soil. It proposed a fast calculation formula for frost heaving force of graded coarse-grained soil with varying fine content. The findings of the study indicate that with the increase of the fine particle content, the frost heaving force and frost heaving rate of the graded coarse-grained soil gradually increase when the content of fine particles in the coarse-grained soil is constant, with the increase of its Kaolin content, the frost heaving force and frost heaving rate of the graded coarse-grained soil increases linearly.
