The Strategic Role of Management Education in Shaping Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurial Ecosystems

摘要

The growth of entrepreneurial education and combining it with management studies, even accounting, shows us a significant shift in modern business education. This shift is made due to the rising demand of having people with much knowledge of technical skills as well as capacity and ability to be entrepreneurs. It explores how colleges and universities are transforming and updating their academic courses to both combine both, entrepreneurial skills with traditional management education. This study compares already existing academic structure, classroom methods and outcomes of students to find out exactly how successful newer approaches to entrepreneurship education are. The success of modern approaches to entrepreneurial education can be determined by studying the present academic systems, teaching methods and the outcomes for students. This chapter sheds light on the structure of traditional business education should change to meet the ever-changing demands of modern markets, giving importance to more of applied learning, practical training with hands-on-experiences. Based on the findings, a combined and more inclusive entrepreneurship education improves significantly the ability of students to start businesses and to respond to diverse job environments, which helps them both in personal career growth and overall economic development, especially in competitive global markets.
