摘要

Compared with physical archival materials housed in traditional museums, digital resources available on museum websites retain substantial evidentiary value while offering distinctive advantages, including expanded accessibility, the removal of spatial constraints, multimodal interactivity, and the creation of technology-enhanced learning environments. However, despite these advantages, the pedagogical integration of digital museum resources into History teaching in Vietnamese general education remains underdeveloped in both theoretical research and classroom practice, particularly when compared with more advanced educational systems worldwide. Within the broader digital education ecosystem, the chapter: (1) examines the role and significance of digital resources, especially digital museum resources, in competency-based history education; (2) develops and analyzes a four-tier conceptual model that structures the integration of digital museum resources into History teaching in Vietnam; and (3) draws on constructivist theory and pedagogical approaches such as Object-Based Learning (OBL), Discovery-Based Learning (DBL), and Project-Based Learning (PBL) to propose theoretically grounded instructional strategies and learning projects aimed at fostering students’ self-directed learning competency, ICT competency, and creativity.
