摘要

The convergence of artificial intelligence (AI), nanotechnology, and CRISPR/Cas-based genome editing presents a transformative approach to address the complex challenges facing modern agriculture, especially in the context of climate change and sustainability. This chapter explores the development and application of AI-nano platforms to enhance the precision, efficiency, and scalability of CRISPR/Cas-mediated genome editing in crops. Nanotechnology plays a pivotal role in delivering CRISPR components into plant cells by overcoming barriers such as the rigid cell wall and enabling targeted, non-toxic, and efficient gene editing. Meanwhile, AI offers powerful tools for optimizing single-guide RNA (sgRNA) design, predicting editing outcomes, and managing large-scale genomic data to support decision-making in crop improvement. The synergy between AI and nanotechnology accelerates precision agriculture by enabling real-time monitoring, trait prediction, and adaptive responses to environmental stress. Through case studies and recent advances, the chapter highlights how AI-nano-CRISPR systems have been successfully used to develop climate-resilient crops with enhanced yield, disease resistance, and stress tolerance. Additionally, the chapter discusses the ethical, regulatory, and biosafety considerations of applying such advanced technologies in agriculture, emphasizing the need for transparent governance and public engagement. The prospects of integrating AI-nano-CRISPR platforms with other digital agriculture tools, such as IoT and blockchain, are also explored to envision a more sustainable, climate-smart agricultural paradigm. This chapter provides researchers, policymakers, and industry stakeholders with a comprehensive understanding of the potential and implications of these converging technologies in revolutionizing plant genome editing for global food security.
