Data Processing Method for Rapid Detection of Highway ETC Performance

Against the backdrop of the continuous expansion of the highway network and the widespread application of ETC lanes and gantry systems, the performance testing of ETC equipment has become critically important, as it is key to ensuring the stable operation of the toll collection system. This paper addresses the issue of data interference caused by on-site acquisition environments in self-developed rapid performance testing equipment for highway ETC systems. A data processing method is proposed, which involves eliminating redundant data to form an effective dataset. The peak and valley information of the data is extracted, and a method for removing interference data is investigated based on the relationship between adjacent peaks and valleys. Finally, the cubic spline interpolation method is applied to fit the data curve, obtaining the contour information of the collected data. This approach effectively characterizes the energy distribution trend of ETC signals at toll stations.
