摘要

The injection of repair solution into the buffer layer of high-voltage cables can be achieved using a peristaltic pump. This novel injection method enhances safety while reducing the risk of contamination to the repair agent itself. However, as the injection time increases, the porous medium within the buffer layer generates considerable injection resistance after being infiltrated by the repair agent. In this study, a dynamic analysis of the solution pumping process was conducted by integrating fluid-structure interaction with permeation theory in porous media. The results indicate: (1) there is a significant correlation between the injection volume and the inlet pressure in a constant-speed peristaltic pump; (2) when dynamic injection resistance is considered, the injection time required to achieve a given saturation level increases exponentially under the same operating conditions. This study provides guidance for the development of low-viscosity repair agents and their efficient injection in future cable repair applications.
