The research titled “Smart Islamic Financial Engineering Towards an Integrated Digital System in the Islamic Financial Industry” addresses the problem of aligning digital innovation with the requirements of Shari’a controls, with the aim of achieving the highest levels of economic efficiency in the Islamic financial sector. “Smart Islamic Financial Engineering” has emerged as a necessary methodology for the development of innovative financing solutions and advanced financial processes that are consistent with Shari’a and keep pace with the era of digitalization. Shari’a credibility (i.e., adherence to Sharia) and economic efficiency (i.e., achieving the objectives at the lowest possible cost). The research emphasizes that the adoption of digital innovation and Islamic FinTech is not just a recreational option, but a legitimate duty to enable organizations to improve their performance, save money, and achieve financial inclusion. He emphasizes that the measure of success of these innovations is the achievement of justice and charity, which distinguishes them from traditional innovations that may bring partial benefit at the expense of macroeconomic harm. The research reviews the most prominent tools and platforms that embody this smart engineering, the most important of which are: The research concludes with recommendations that focus on the need to partner with technology companies, subject the digital transformation strategy to direct supervision from the Shariah Board to ensure authenticity and safety, and develop human cadres specialized in financial technology and Shari’a audit of smart contracts.
