摘要

In modern days, Internet of Things (IoT) has made its place in almost every sector. DC motors are widely used in engineering work. Mostly DC motors are manually started. To meet the modern era, a DC motor working in fusion with an IoT device can open doors to many more possibilities. Important parameters like voltage, current, power, temperature, and speed control can be monitored by putting IoT to work in synchronization with motors. By installing an IoT system with the DC motor, the parameters can be controlled from anywhere using smart phone or any IoT-based device. IoT will aid in enhancing and ensuring safe operation of these machines without the continuous monitoring of an engineer by being present near the operating site. DC Motors are widely used in various fields like Automobile engineering, manufacturing facilities, even in jet engines also. One of the main advantages of DC Motor is that it is self-started, and it has low power requirement. DC Motors are cheaper than AC Motors, so where the AC supply is not available, their DC Motors comes in pictures. It is low in cost, self-started. This research paper will give a solution to continuous real-time monitoring of DC machines during running operations. DC input machine can be used in many applications. In Electric Vehicles where brushless DC motors are used, it has high torque at low speeds and has easy control over speed gain. In industrial applications like conveyers, cranes, and elevators, precise speed control is important.
