The Development Status of Logistics in China’s Manufacturing Industry

The manufacturing industry is the primary source of social logistics demand in China. In 2024, China’s manufacturing sector actively responded to multiple challenges, including sluggish global economic growth, the restructuring of global supply chains, and major power competition. By seizing opportunities presented by industry digitalization, green transformation and upgrading, and government policies promoting high-quality development, the sector achieved steady progress. Against this backdrop, the overall scale of logistics in China’s manufacturing industry continued to expand steadily, with ongoing improvements in logistics digitalization, intelligence, and internationalization, and orderly advancement in logistics standardization.
