In 2024, China continued to advance the development of its logistics infrastructure network, further enhancing its levels of intelligence, efficiency, and sustainability. The scale of the transportation infrastructure network continued to expand, with further optimization of the road network structure, and the main framework of the “6 Axes, 7 Corridors, 8 Channels” had essentially taken shape. Logistics parks and centers have become more intelligent and specialized, and the development of warehousing facilities has shifted from large-scale expansion to intensive utilization. In terms of logistics equipment, the capacity of heavy-duty transport equipment has been further improved, autonomous transport vehicles have begun to be deployed on a large scale, and significant progress has been made in the greening and intelligentization of warehousing and handling equipment. The interconnectivity of logistics information and the decision-support capabilities of platforms have also been strengthened. At the same time, notable progress has been made in logistics standardization, with its level of internationalization gradually increasing.
