Regulation of Transgenerational Toxicity by Transgenerational Communication of Germline Hedgehog Signals
摘要
Hedgehog signaling pathway is an important signaling pathway to control biological processes, including stress response. In Caenorhabditis elegans, transgenerational activation of germline Hedgehog ligands together with transgenerational activation of Hedgehog receptors mediate the induction of transgenerational pollutant toxicity. Certain evidence further suggested the potential role of activated germline Hedgehog ligands to transgenerationally target to and activate corresponding receptors in the offspring after pollutants exposure.
