Intraocular Lens Power Calculations After Refractive Surgery
摘要
While nowadays corneal refractive surgery (CRS) offers excellent and outstanding visual results, it also introduces significant challenges in the precise calculation of the power of intraocular lens (IOL) power [1]. This chapter provides a concise examination of the challenges associated with IOL power calculation in eyes with CRS, alongside a discussion of potential mitigations. It further explores the practical implementation and current technological landscape for managing these complex cases, encompassing web-integrated calculators, optical coherence tomography (OCT)-derived formulas, real-time intraoperative biometry, and postoperative lens adjustment or refinement strategies.
