Liver Transplantation
摘要
Liver transplantation is frequently performed for decompensated liver disease and acute liver failure. DDLT is the most common form in the Western world, while LDLT is the most common in the Eastern world, including India. The right lobe of the liver typically constitutes 60–70% of the total volume, while the left lobe accounts for 30–40%. In LDLT, a healthy donor can donate up to 70% of their liver, which will regenerate to 85% of its original volume in 11–14 days and reach full size in 3 months. To prevent rejection post-transplant, a triple immunosuppressive regimen is used, which includes tacrolimus, mycophenolate mofetil, and prednisolone.
