Bionanocomposites in Medical Science for Precise and Effective Targeted Drug Delivery
摘要
Bionanocomposites have been designed as a hopeful group of constituents that combines the exclusive characteristics of nanomaterials with biological components, contributing new potentials in the targeted drug delivery. This chapter reviews the various types of nanomaterials commonly used to develop bionanocomposites and their precise roles in improving the drug delivery proficiency. Understanding the techniques by which these innovative composites focus the drugs to specific health issues is decisive for further developing personalized and effective treatments. The chapter attempts to compile the efforts of researchers across the globe specifically in the cardiovascular field. It also tries to address existing encounters faced in the area, such as toxicity and regulatory hurdles. Considering the future, we remark and compile the forthcoming opportunities of bionanocomposites in the medical domain such as CRISPR technology and theranostics, highlighting the encouraging innovations that could renovate health care. By integrating the progress in nanotechnology with medical science, bionanocomposites have the capability to meaningfully improve therapeutic outcomes. Finally, this chapter provides a comprehensive indication of how bionanocomposites are decisive in the future of health innovation and targeted drug delivery.
